Tammy Whitehead
Tammy Whitehead has worked at The Times Dispatch since 1997. She serves as receptionist, ad assistant, billing assistant, as well as completing other tasks. She is a graduate of Arcadia Valley High School in Ironton, Mo., and has a certificate in graphic arts from Arcadia Valley Vo-Tech.
She and her husband, Joel T. Whitehead, who is formerly of Clover Bend, live east of Walnut Ridge. They have two daughters, Shelby, who attends Walnut Ridge School, and Alison, who attends Jelly Bean Junction. They are members of the Walnut Ridge congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Tammy enjoys people and putting a smile on their face. "I just can't stand to see a sad face."
