Shantelle Redden

Shantelle Redden serves as advertising consultant and staff writer for The Times Dispatch. Her duties include advertising sales, composing stories and taking pictures.

Shantelle is a native of Walnut Ridge and a 2004 graduate of Hoxie High School. She is the wife of Kyle Redden, formerly of Gosnell. She is the daughter of Rick and Lesha Prater of Walnut Ridge and the granddaughter of the late Burl and Virginia Prater of Portia and Verna Gilmore and the late Hubert Gilmore of Walnut Ridge.

She is a 2009 graduate of Arkansas Tech University, where she received her bachelor's degree in journalism, focusing her studies on public relations and communications.

At ATU, she was a member of the Theta Theta chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha, serving as secretary, and was a member of Gamma Sigma Alpha, an honorary society club, and the National Leadership Student Society.

She currently serves as historian-reporter for the Jonesboro Zeta Tau Alpha alum group of ZTA and is social advisor for the Zeta Omicron chapter at Arkansas State University.
