John Bland

John is the third generation of the Bland family to be associated with The Times Dispatch. He has worked full-time at The TD since December of 1980. He is a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he received a bachelor of arts in journalism.

He and his wife, the former Renee Rainwater, who is also a native of Walnut Ridge, have a daughter, Anna, who attends Walnut Ridge School.
