Holder seeks re-election
Becky Holder has formally announced that she will be seeking re-election for a second term as Lawrence County assessor.
Holder began her first term in 2016, but has been with the assessor's office for 32 years.
"I have enjoyed serving as your assessor, and I hope you will continue to let me do so.
"I have undertaken the duties of my office in an honest and professional manner and wish to continue.
"I want to recognize my staff, as they help make the office run smooth and efficient. Without them, my job would be much more difficult."
Holder resides in Walnut Ridge with her husband, Scott. They have one daughter, Emily Anglin, who is married to Jeremy Anglin, and a granddaughter, Blaire.
