Kaylynn Dawn Hendrickson

Brett Hendrickson and Ashley Isbell of Jonesboro have announced the birth of a daughter on July 18, 2017, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.

The baby weighed two pounds and has been named Kaylynn Dawn Hendrickson.

Grandparents are Robert and Tammy Hendrickson of Strawberry.

She is the great-granddaughter of Kay Hendrickson of Batesville, Beverly and David Fisher of Lynn, Charlette Dreanan of Little Rock and Joyce Fisher of Hardy.

Florence Bounds

Florence Alzetta Bounds, 93, of Bono, died July 30, 2017, at her home.

Born July 11, 1924, in Pocahontas, she was the daughter of Roy and Elza Upshaw Rush.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Tom Bounds; a son, Thomas Patton Bounds; two daughters, Terri Lee Nelson and Tommie Swayze-Sheffield; four sisters, Dixie Tate Rawlings, Myrl Tate, Pearl Thomas and Inus Healey; a brother, Bill Rush; two grandsons, Scotty "Beaver" Tribble and Rod Nelson; a granddaughter, Leona Swayze; two great-grandsons, William James Cook and Gavin Bounds; and two sons-in-law, Raymond Tribble and Jim Mullins.

Survivors include five daughters, Vida Cline and husband Zeke, Fern Mullins, Judy Cook and husband Steve, all of Bono, Carolyn Tribble and Connie Futrell and husband Steve, both of Jonesboro; four sons, Johnny Bounds and wife Toyo, and Ronnie Bounds and wife Susan, all of Jonesboro, Buck Bounds and wife Carolyn and Ray Neal Bounds and wife LeeAnne, all of Bono; a daughter-in-law, Minerva Bounds, Walnut Ridge; a sister, Barbara Davidson, Walnut Ridge; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral is today at 2 p.m. at the Bono United Pentecostal Church with Bro. Danny Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters and great-great-grandchildren.

Mildred Clem

Mildred Bennett Clem, 88, of Strawberry, died July 25, 2017, at Cave City Nursing Home.

Born Sept. 6, 1928, in Charlotte, she was the daughter of Homer T. and Virgie Mae Ward Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Leroy Clem; a brother, A.L. Bennett; and a sister, Dale Powers.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda West, Strawberry; two grandchildren, Michael West and Denna Wheeler; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral was Friday at 10 a.m. at Roller-Crouch McGee Funeral Home in Cave City with Bros. Kurt Howard and Matt Donnell officiating. Burial was in Ward Cemetery at Strawberry.

Pallbearers were Kerry V. Crouch, Payton Crider, Ricky Clem, Kenny Bennett and Kerry F. Crouch. Honorary pallbearers were Jody Newcomb, Larry Liles, Andy Liles and the staff at Cave City Nursing Home.

Rennard B. Cooper

Rennard B. Cooper, 81, of Hoxie, died July 31, 2017, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab.

Born Dec. 19, 1935, in Hoxie, he was the son of Gerald and Opal Harris Cooper. He was a lifelong resident of Hoxie and became synonymous with The Times Dispatch, having worked for the TD for 58 years. Rennard was an avid Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals fan, and he also loved to watch his grandkids and great-grandkids play or participate in their various activities. He was a Korean War veteran, and a hard-working Christian man who will be sorely missed by friends and family.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Roxanne Boyd; a son, Richie Conley; a brother, Gerald Cooper Jr.; a granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Boyce Cooper; three daughters, Lisa McCumber, Cindy Goff and Kim McCarroll and husband Rodney; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life was held Tuesday from 3-6 p.m. at United Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge. House-Gregg Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Oleta M. Kingcade

Oleta M. Kingcade, 88, of Rockford, Ill., formerly of Lynn, died July 25, 2017.

Born Dec. 28, 1928, at Egypt, she was the daughter of John and Mary Moefield Cook. She was a certified plumber and electrician.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude J. Kingcade; a son, Kim Kingcade; five sisters, Myrtle Hart, Ruth Jones, Pearl Jones, Corine Colburn and Helen Arnold; and four brothers, Claude Cook, Raymond Cook, Clarence Cook and James Cook.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Smith and husband Gerard; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Kingcade; a sister, La Juan Smith; five grandchildren, Jason Smith, Jazman Armstrong, Brent Kingcade, Holly Muniz and Melissa Nichols; and six great-grandchildren.

Services were private. Cremation rites were accorded. Christenson Funeral Home of Rockford, Ill., assisted with arrangements.

Bo Malin

Everett Stranton "Bo" Malin, 41, of Imboden, died July 23, 2017, in Imboden.

Born Nov. 10, 1975, in Pocahontas, he was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Pearl Malin; and grandparents, Gene and Pauline Davis.

Survivors include a son, Chase Hunter Malin, of the home; two daughters, Hannah Jo Malin, of the home, and Jazmine Emlee Dahm, Cherokee Village; his father, Alton Malin, Imboden; his mother, Norma Ann Davis Clements, Arlington, Tenn.; a brother, Daniel Malin, Texarkana; two sisters, Misty Hurley and husband Patrick, Southaven, Miss., and Crystal Clements, Arlington, Tenn.; and a grandfather, William Edward Malin, Imboden.

Funeral was Saturday at 1 p.m. at Fears Family Funeral Home in Pocahontas with Gerald Fears officiating. Burial was in Old Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jim Brown, Dwayne Ivy, Ricky Rausch, Shawn Walker, Adam Wicker and John Wicker. Honorary pallbearers were Rick Claude, Steve Dillard and Earnest Ivy.

Jonathan Perkins

Jonathan Perkins, 55, of Cave City, died July 31, 2017.

Born March 21, 1962, he was the son of the late Floyd and Aver Perkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Greg Perkins and Timothy Perkins.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Perkins; three daughters, Melissa Thomas, Paragould, Kayla Perkins, Russellville, and Jacquelyn Perkins, Cave City; two brothers, Patrick Perkins, Bassett, and Edward Hamilton, Tiptonville, Tenn.; a sister, Malisa Dotson, Wilson; and two grandchildren, Alezander Milde and Caiden Milde.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Qualls Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Calvin Rose

Calvin Rose, 61, of Portia, died July 30, 2017, at his home.

Born Sept. 16, 1955, in Hanford, Calif., he was the son of Other and Marie Alutman Rose. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a mechanic. He lived in Tacoma, Wash., before moving to Portia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Laquita Houle and Brenda McQuary.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Rose; four daughters, Candace Wheeler, Mary Rose, Sheila Russell and Angela Augustine; five sons, Chris Rose, Tim Rose, Daniel Rose, Daniel Letourneau and Robert Kimbler; three brothers, Lee Alutman, Gerald Rose and Jim Rose; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

No services were held. House-Gregg Funeral Home had charge of cremation arrangements.
