Congratulations to Stan Jones
Governor Asa Hutchinson has appointed Clover Bend native Stan Jones to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. To our knowledge, Stan is only the second Lawrence Countian ever to serve on the prestigious commission.
The late Charles C. Snapp, uncle of Walnut Ridge Mayor Charles E. Snapp, also served on the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. He was appointed by Gov. Sid McMath. Lake Charles State Park is also named for Charles C. Snapp.
Stan is owner of one of the premier hunting lodges in the country, the Stan Jones Mallard Lodge at Clover Bend.
