Historic markers reveal WR history

The history of Walnut Ridge and its historic downtown buildings is being revealed, preserved and brought to the forefront thanks to historic and informative markers being hung downtown.

Dr. Hunter returns to practice at home

While in high school, she participated in the Medical Applications of Science for Health (M*A*S*H) program, a two-week summer program that allows students to shadow health professionals and attend health-related workshops. "I really liked it," Hunter said.

"From there, I did a lot of shadowing," she added.

Hunter said she saw how much work it was going to take to become a doctor, looked at other options and decided, "We're gonna make it work."
