Amtrak, in conjunction with Lawrence County Office of Emergency Management, offered a specialized training for area emergency response agencies Monday.

Ditto steps down
For Walnut Ridge Street Superintendent Rick Ditto, it was not an easy decision to turn in his resignation last week. However, due to some health concerns and lower energy levels, he decided stepping down was the best thing for him and the city.
