AHTD to conduct public meetings
The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct two public involvement meetings to discuss the preliminary findings of the Hwy. 67 corridor study between Hwy. 412 in Walnut Ridge and the Missouri State Line.
The meetings will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 4-7 p.m. in the banquet room at Black River Technical College in Pocahontas and on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 4-7 p.m. in the gym at the M.B. Ainley Community Center in Corning.
The study has identified alternatives to improve the movement of people and goods within the study area.
These meetings will be "open house" with no formal presentations. The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits, ask questions and offer comments.
