Festival draws crowd,
provides boost for businesses

The fourth annual Beatles at the Ridge Festival held this weekend was a success with thousands attending and multiple new events offering a variety of activities to the public.

While an accurate estimate of attendees is near impossible to attain, Charles Snapp, festival committee chair, said, "These two days of festival activities were the best two days we've had, and I was very pleased to see the concert area completely full for the last two bands."

Sloan lives up to 'legend'
as he marks 100 years

Larry Sloan was a legend well before reaching his 100th birthday on Sunday. He continues to live up to the nickname "Larry the Legend" that was given to him on his 80th birthday by his tennis-playing buddies, often called the Weekend Warriors.

Mayor House puts focus
on park in his final term

Mayor Don House is spearheading multiple projects at Stewart Park. He said that the park has fallen into disrepair and he wants to use his time left in office to make it better for the community.
