Queens of Hardwood includes
Hoxie and WR players, coach

The 10th Annual Queens of the Hardwood All-Star Volleyball Game will be held this Friday at 7 p.m. at the Nettleton High School Gymnasium. Volleyball standouts from around Northeast Arkansas will make up the two teams in the East vs. North match-up.

Five high school seniors, including three from Hoxie and two from Walnut Ridge, will be among the players this year. In addition, Janna Berry, WRHS volleyball coach, will be head coach of the East team.

Hoxie's participating players are Courtney Sears, Grace Hall and Maria Fry, while the Walnut Ridge players are Caroline Kelley and Anna Bland.

Friday's activities will also include a skills clinic for elementary students prior to the all-star game and also a silent auction.

Tickets can be purchased from the local players or coaches for $5 or at the door. All funds raised will benefit the City Youth Ministries of Jonesboro. Contact Janna Berry at WRHS for more information.
