State Sen. Robert Thompson filed paperwork this week to run for a final term in the Arkansas Senate in 2014. He is seeking reelection for district 20, which includes Clay, Greene and Lawrence counties and parts of Randolph and Craighead counties.
"I am proud to represent Northeast Arkansas in the State Senate and I hope to continue fighting for our people and our communities in a third term," Thompson said.

"I want my children to grow up in a state and a region with educational and professional opportunities," Thompson added. Thompson and his wife, Tori, have three children, Cross, 13, Henry, nine, and Victoria, four.
