Rector defeated Black Rock 77-44 in senior boys basketball action Friday at Black Rock.
Rector jumped out to a 15-6 lead in the first quarter and continued to pull away, leading 36-19 at halftime and 47-29 at the end of the third quarter.
The Black Rock junior high boys came away with a win, edging Rector 43-40
Hillcrest's senior high teams split a pair of games with Calico Rock on Thursday at Lynn.
Colman Evans recorded a double-double of 33 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Hillcrest senior boys to a 60-53 victory over the Pirates.
The game was back-and-forth, with the Screamin' Eagles trailing 24-22 at halftime before fighting back to lead 41-40 entering the fourth quarter.
Brad Nunnally added 13 points, and Evan Doyle had 10 for Hillcrest.
In the senior girls game, the first quarter proved to be the difference, as the Lady Screamin' Eagles could not overcome an early 18-4 deficit en route to a 54-40 loss to the Lady Pirates.
Katelyn Richey led Hillcrest with 14 points, and Caitlyn Whitmire added 10 points.
Calico Rock won a junior boys game 39-28.
Sloan-Hendrix's Jessie Powell hit a buzzer-beating jump shot to cap a fourth-quarter rally and give the Lady Greyhounds a 65-64 victory at Maynard on Nov. 5.
Britney Wolfe scored 23 points to lead Sloan-Hendrix, who trailed 51-43 entering the final period. Powell finished with 15 points, and Cheyenne Vance added 10 points.
The junior Lady Hounds earned a 36-29 victory.
The Sloan-Hendrix senior boys dropped an 83-69 decision to the Tigers.
Matt Wilkins led the Greyhounds with 19 points. Kyle Murphy added 15 points, and Dylan Wood finished with 12.
Hillcrest opened the 1A-2 North Conference season by hosting the Mammoth Spring Bears at Lynn on Nov. 5.
The Hillcrest senior boys defeated the Bears 64-42.
The Eagles led 12-9 after one quarter, 26-14 at halftime and 48-27 after three periods.
Evans and Nunnally had 16 points apiece to lead the Screamin' Eagles.
Hillcrest's senior girls fell to the Lady Bears 50-43, despite a 21-point night from Richey.
Mammoth Spring's junior boys defeated Hillcrest 42-30.
