Each of these graduates is from Lawrence County or has a parent and grandparents who are from Lawrence County. If there are others, please let us know.
Congratulations to the Walnut Ridge High School Bobcat baseball team and Coach Derek Bramlett on another highly successful season. The Bobcats made it to the semi-finals of the state tournament.
Please start your day off Saturday with a hardy breakfast and support the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast at Van Ellis Cafeteria on the Walnut Ridge School campus. The breakfast will be held from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m., and tickets can be purchased at the door or from Kiwanis Club and WRHS Key Club members for $5.
The Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast has been a local tradition for spanned over 50 years. It is one of two major fundraisers the club has each year, and money raised is reinvested in the community, mainly to help support the needs of children and youth.
The breakfast is also a great place to visit friends and neighbors.
