Frankly Speaking...Despite rainy conditions, over 250 people gathered Saturday morning to conduct another search for missing 14-year-old Sidney Randall of Walnut Ridge. Pickup trucks hauling trailers with fishing boats, four-wheelers and other ATVs were parked up and down the streets around the Walnut Ridge Police Department. Volunteers stood in a line winding through the building and outside as organizers assigned plots of land for small groups to search.
According to Kelsie Jones, nursing instructor at Black River Technical College, a group of student nurses from BRTC had come out to help in the search. They were just one of several groups and individuals who came from near and far to assist.
It was gratifying to see such a positive response from so many people.
