BR faces Mammoth

The Black Rock Zebras fell to Mammoth Spring 62-55 in senior boys basketball on Feb. 5 at Black Rock.
Mammoth Spring led 14-6 at the end of the first quarter, 30-26 at halftime and 41-38 heading into the final period. The Zebras had a five-point lead at one point in the fourth quarter before the Bears rallied for the win.
Malachi Gott and Matthew Wilkens each had 13 points, and Caleb McKenzie added 10 points for Black Rock.
The Mammoth Spring senior girls defeated Black Rock 67-61.
Harrisburg
Christian Ervin scored 16 points, as the Lady Zebras fell at Harrisburg 66-32 in non-conference action on Friday.
Harrisburg led 31-22 at halftime and stretched the lead to 49-31 after three periods.
In the senior boys game, Harrisburg led 21-11 after one quarter, 35-20 at halftime and 44-27 after three periods en route to a 63-39 victory.
