County tourney begins Saturday

The annual Lawrence County Basketball Tournament will get underway Saturday at Hoxie. Titles will be up for grabs for boys and girls teams in senior high, junior high and seventh-grade divisions. The finals are scheduled for Feb. 1 and 2.

The daily schedule of games is as follows:

Saturday

Game 1: Noon - Hillcrest vs. Hoxie seventh-grade girls

Game 2: 1 p.m. - Hillcrest vs. Black Rock junior girls

Game 3: 2:15 - Hillcrest vs. Black Rock junior boys

Game 4: 3:30 - Hoxie vs. Black Rock senior girls

Game 5: 4:45 - Black Rock vs. Sloan-Hendrix senior boys

Monday

Game 6: 4 p.m. - Walnut Ridge vs. Sloan-Hendrix seventh-grade girls

Game 7: 5 p.m. - Walnut Ridge vs. Sloan-Hendrix seventh-grade boys

Game 8: 6 p.m. - Hoxie vs. Hillcrest seventh-grade boys
