LHS welcomes new physicians
Dr. Samantha Hatfield and Dr. Jackie White have recently been added to the medical staff at Lawrence Health Services.
"At Lawrence Health Services we're constantly looking for ways to add physicians and services that will strengthen local healthcare," said George Fray, interim administrator.
"Dr. Hatfield and Dr. White are great additions to the quality care we provide and we're proud to have them on board."
Dr. Hatfield, an internist and pediatrician, will join Dr. Paul Vellozo at Family Medical Center, as well as the medical staff at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, Mo., in June last year.
A Cave City native, she and her husband, Brian, live in Strawberry.
Dr. White has joined the medical staff at LMH in addition to seeing patients at the Lawrence Health Services Imboden Clinic in Imboden.
The Imboden clinic will be located at Dr. White's previous practice location. He completed both medical school and his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and has practiced family medicine since 1997.
Dr. White and his wife, Kay, live in Imboden.
