Forgottten 3 provides
meals to BR residents
Among those helping prepare hot meals as part of an outreach of the Forgottten 3 motorcycle ministry were (from left): Cameron Johnson, Billy Clark, LaDonna Maxie, Sharon Anderson and Tim Johnson.
The Forgottten 3 motorcycle ministry delivered Christmas dinners to elderly and disabled residents in the Black Rock area on Dec. 22.
Those helping prepare food and make up trays were: Anthony and Susie Kopp, Steve and Rhonda Davis, Bobby and LaDonna Maxie, Billy Clark, Christine Bailey, Sharon Anders and Tim, Leslie and Cameron Johnson. Robin Maxie and Pat and Sue Roby helped with the deliveries.
Susie Kopp said the group is working to make a difference in the Black Rock community.
"We served 70 people a hot meal and a message that we are here to help in any way we can in our community," she said.
In addition, the Black Rock Outreach Center is open every other weekend for teens to gather, and the motorcycle group works with the H.U.T. (Helping Unite Teens) organization.
"We are supporters of the teen group," Kopp said. She said members donate both money and time to help the teens with activities.
