Floodplain measures approved

Hoxie councilmen adopted Ordinance 2012-3 at the Dec. 11 meeting, which puts floodplain management measures in place to comply with federal regulations. The regulations are available at city hall for anyone wishing to review them.

The Arkansas Natural Resources Commission announced two loans affecting Lawrence County residents on Dec. 11, according to Commission Chairman Sloan Hampton.
