SH homecoming held FridaySloan-Hendrix High School hosted its basketball homecoming on Friday with the theme "Peace, Love and Hounds." Samantha Honeycutt was crowend senior queen, and Lauren Honeycutt was crowned junior queen. Homecoming began at 5 p.m. with the junior boys team playing against Pangburn. Senior boys and girls followed, with the coronation ceremony held between the junior and senior boys games. Royalty for 2012 Sloan-Hendrix Basketball Homecoming included: Samantha Honeycutt, daughter of Brian and Leah Honeycutt of Imboden, senior maid; Elanore Ames, daughter of David and Benita Ames of Black Rock, junior maid. Also, Natalie Gipson, daughter of Steve and Frema Gipson of Imboden, sophomore maid; Madison Luffman, daughter of Kim Killough and Jesse Luffman, both of Ravenden, freshman maid. Also, Alanah Carter, daughter of Jesse and Bridget Carter of Imboden, eighth-grade maid; and Lauren Honeycutt, daughter of Brian and Leah Honeycutt of Imboden, seventh-grade maid. Pages were Jacob Bradley, son of Michael and Leslie Bradley of Ravenden; Olivia Hale, daughter of Rusty and Chris Hale of Imboden; Gueneviere Nelson, daughter of Luisa Rodriguez and Neal Nelson, both of Imboden; and Zane Robertson, son of Robert and Juanita Pogue of Ravenden. A homecoming dance was held for seventh through 12th grades after the games. The dance was held in the school's cafeteria.
