Imboden natives
die in accident

An Oct. 23 accident claimed the lives of two sisters, Felecia Jo Davis, 25, of Trumann, and Andrea Renee Benham, 22, of Manila, natives of Imboden, and Davis's unborn son, Zaden Wayne.

The accident, which involved a head-on collision between a 2001 Nissan Xterra, driven by Benham, and a 1991 Mack dump truck, driven by Kevin Long, 35, of Newport, is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police. The collision occurred at 1:13 p.m. on Highway 226, west of Highway 67 in Jackson County.

According to Trooper Daniel Riley, Carson Benham, two, and Kayden Benham, seven months, passengers in the Nissan, were also injured in the accident and were transported to Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis. Long was not injured in the accident.

Funeral services were Saturday at House-Gregg Funeral Home. Full obituaries can be found on page 2A of this week's paper.
