Bobcats fall to Salem

The Salem Greyhounds remained undefeated with a 44-6 victory over Walnut Ridge in 2A-3 football action Friday night at Salem.

Salem led 7-6 after one quarter, but broke the game open with a 22-point second quarter to lead 29-6 at halftime.

The Greyhounds put the game out of reach with a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter.

Walnut Ridge now stands at 3-2 in conference play and 5-2 overall. The Bobcats host Augusta on Friday night. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
