Early voting begins

The early voting period for the Nov. 6 General Election began Monday at the Lawrence County Clerk's office, with a steady flow of voters coming to cast their ballots.

The clerk's office will have extended hours until the election. The office will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The last day to vote early will be Monday, Nov. 5, and the office will close at 5 p.m. on that day.

On election day, the polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and no voting will be conducted in the county clerk's office that day.

To verify voter registration and look at a sample ballot online, individuals can visit www.voterview.ar-nova.org.
