HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR VISITS WR - Holocaust survivor Alfred Munzer (center) receives a tour of the new Guitar Walk at Cavenaugh Park in Walnut Ridge from Charles Snapp, a member of the Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee. Sarah Campbell (left) accompanied Munzer, who spoke Tuesday and this morning at Black River Technical College in Pocahontas. Early voting begins

The early voting period for the Nov. 6 General Election began Monday at the Lawrence County Clerk's office, with a steady flow of voters coming to cast their ballots.


Cancer awareness events
slated in Lawrence Co.

Lawrence County residents will have several opportunities this weekend to support effort to increase cancer awareness, as well as raise funds for cancer research and cancer patients.

Mass flu clinic
to be held Friday

The Lawrence County Health Unit will host a mass flu clinic on Friday at the health unit, located at 1050 West Free Street in Walnut Ridge.

BPW Coffee is Thursday

The local Business and Professional Women are marking National BPW Week this week, including their annual coffee, which is open to the public.
