Hoxie claims 48-14 win at ManilaThe Hoxie Mustangs earned their first 3A-3 conference win of the season with a 48-14 thrashing of the Manila Lions in senior football action Friday night at Manila.
Hoxie's Jacob Henson scored on a 23-yard run on the Mustangs' first possession for a quick 6-0 lead. Gunner Cook added a six-yard scoring run and Henson ran for the two-point conversion to give Hoxie a 14-0 lead with 3:21 to play in the first quarter.
