Lady Cats beat RC

Walnut Ridge traveled to Jonesboro Thursday to face the Ridgefield Christian Lady Warriors in 3A-Northeast volleyball action. The Lady Bobcats won the match in three sets, 25-19, 25-22, 25-21.

Anna Bland was 31-of-31 serving, with seven aces, 17 digs and six kills. Ashlyn Cothern had seven assists and six kills. Caroline Kelley had six kills, and Hannah Massey finished with 19 digs.

The Lady Bobcats improved to 7-6 in 3A-Norhteast Conference play and 16-6 overall.

The junior high match went three sets with Walnut Ridge winning 25-15, 19-25, 25-13. Sydney Linebaugh was 29-of-29 serving, with 10 aces.

The junior Lady Cats improved to 9-3 in conference play and 14-4 overall.
