WR dominates in second half to post win
A dominating second half lifted the Walnut Ridge Bobcats to a 42-14 victory over the McCrory Jaguars in high school football action Friday night at McCrory. Eric Wilcoxson put the Bobcats on the board first with a six-yard run with 6:05 to play in the first quarter.
The Bobcats trailed 14-6 late in the second quarter until Wilcoxson caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Zach Crisler on the final play of the half. Crisler connected with Wilcoxson again on the two-point conversion to send the contest to halftime knotted at 14 apiece.
