AHTD to host public meetingThe Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public-involvement meeting today from 4-7 p.m. in the banquet room of the Randolph County Development Center, located at 1410 Hwy. 304 East in Pocahontas.The meeting will discuss the study for the proposed Hwy. 67 corridor between Hwy. 412 in Walnut Ridge and the Missouri State Line. The study will identify alternatives to improve the movement of people and goods within the study area. The public is invited to attend the Ňopen houseÓ meeting anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits, ask questions and offer comments. In addition, the AHTD will conduct a public-involvement meeting on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the banquet room of the M.B. Ainley Community Center, located at 536 East Elm Street in Corning. Both meetings will have identical content.
