Hoxie got on the scoreboard first on Gunner Cook's eight-yard scoring run in the first quarter. The PAT failed and the Mustangs led 6-0 after one period.
Hoxie extended its lead when quarterback Cole Sears passed 15 yards to Slade Sullens for the Mustangs' second touchdown. Sears then passed to Hunter Wilson for the two-point conversion and a 14-0 Mustang lead.
