Two join staff at WRES
Walnut Ridge (Ben R. Bush) Elementary School has a new counselor and a new custodian for the 2012-13 school year. Kelly Rider is the new elementary counselor. She holds a bachelor's degree in education from Williams Baptist College and is working on a master's degree in school counseling. She previously served as counselor at Oak Grove Middle School, taught second grade at Sloan-Hendrix School in Imboden and taught third grade and reading recovery at WRES. She and her husband, Jeff, live in Walnut Ridge. She has two daughters, Jennifer Hackworth, 24, of Oregon and Alivia Hackworth, 20, of Walnut Ridge. Kara Peek, a native of Walnut Ridge, is the new custodian at WRES.
