Lady Cats win Cave City tourney

The Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats won the championship of the Cave City Invitational Volleyball Tournament on Saturday at Cave City. The Lady Cats won five matches without losing a set in taking the title.

Lady Mustangs have great opening week

The Hoxie High School volleyball teams enjoyed a successful opening week of the 2012 season, as the junior and senior high teams each were victorious in three matches.

WR sweeps Bay

Walnut Ridge opened the senior high volleyball season with a three-game sweep of 3A-Northeast Conference foe Bay on Aug. 21 at Sharum Gymnasium. Scores of the games were 25-9, 25-23, 25-16.
