WRMS announces new teachers
Walnut Ridge Middle School has four new teachers for the 2012-13 school year. They are Rebecca Bullard, Desiree Miller, Judy Holland and Dawn Craft. Bullard, who will teach seventh-grade math, previously taught seventh grade at Westside Middle School and fourth grade at Hoxie Elementary School. She has a bachelor's degree in middle level education and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, both from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. A native of Light, she and her husband, Jason, live in Hoxie. They have two children, Brice, three, and Brinlee, 11 months. Miller, a native of Corning, is teaching seventh- and eighth-grade science. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication from San Diego State University and a master's degree in communication from Schiller International University. She taught English and math in the Middle East for two years. She resides in Walnut Ridge. Holland, who lives in Jonesboro, will teach eighth-grade English and pre-AP English. She previously taught high school English at Weiner and Ridgefield Christian and ninth-grade English at Cross County and Beebe. She and her husband, Reggie, have a son, Mitch, who is 16. Craft, who is currently on leave, will teach eighth-grade math when she joins the faculty at WRMS.
