BRHS announces athletic awards

Black Rock High School has announced recipients of athletic awards for the 2011-12 school year.

The Herschal Bryant Award was presented to junior Christian Ervin and senior Jason Harper.

Other awards were as follows:

Junior girls basketball

Erica Bass - Most 3 Pointers, Best 3 Point Percentage, Best Field Goal Percentage, Most Steals, Most Assists, Outstanding Offensive Player and Lady Zebra Award.

Destyni Caldwell - Best Free-Throw Percentage.

Caylia Ervin - Most Rebounds, Outstanding Defensive Player.

Chloe Foley - Miss Hustle, Most Improved.

Junior boys basketball

Malachi Gott - Most 3 Pointers.

Ryan Roberts - Best 3 Point Field-Goal Percentage, Best Field-Goal Percentage, Best Free Throw Percentage, Most Rebounds.

Matt Wilkins - Most Assists, Most Steals.

Issac Mondy - Most Improved.

Drew Howard - Mr. Hustle.

Ranie Robinett - Most 3 Pointers, Best 3 Point Percentage.

Christian Ervin - Best Field Goal Percentage, Best Free-Throw Percentage, Most Steals, Miss Hustle, Outstanding Offensive Player.

Kaylie Hammock - Most Rebounds, Outstanding Defensive Player, Most Improved, Lady Zebra Award.
