Job Fair

The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will host a job fair on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m.
Organizers are hoping to pair up companies with potential employees, as well as provide opportunities for those seeking work to fill out applications and learn more about seeking employment.
Kelly Aaron, manager of the local Department of Workforce Services office, said DWS will provide a mobile unit with computers to enable the public to create Arkansas Job Link accounts, do work searches and create resumˇs during the event.
Aaron encourages recent graduates to attend the event, as well.
As of Tuesday, approximately 12 employers were scheduled to participate in the job fair, and it is not too late to sign up for the event.
The job fair will be held in the Lawrence County Meeting Room, located at 115 West Walnut Street. Free booth spaces, each including a six-foot table and two chairs, are available to participating businesses.
Electricity and Wi-Fi are available if requested, and a hospitality area will be set up for employers.
Applications may be taken on site, and tables will be provided for individuals to complete applications.
