Saturday
Hoxie - Piggott softball

The Hoxie Lady Mustangs fell to Piggott 17-9 in the 3A-3 District softball tournament at Manila.

Thursday
Hoxie - Harrisburg baseball

Hoxie's baseball team lost to Harrisburg 14-3 in the 3A-3 District baseball tournament at Tuckerman.

April 24
BR - ICC baseball

Izard County Consolidated defeated Black Rock 12-2 at Brockwell.

Korliss Moore batted 1-for-3 with two RBIs and scored a run for Black Rock. Sam Clem scored the Zebras other run.

BR - Ridgefield softball

Ridgefield Christian swept a softball doubleheader from Black Rock's Lady Zebras at Black Rock. Ridgefield won the opener 18-0 and took the nightcap 19-0.

April 23
WR - Tuckerman baseball

The Walnut Ridge Bobcats hammered Tuckerman 12-0 at Stewart Park.

Cole Hicks went 2-for-2, including a solo homer in the first inning, and finished with two RBIs. Clay Hufstedler had one hit and drove in three runs, while Teague Phillips added two hits.

Range Weeks was the winning pitcher. He allowed four hits and registered three strikeouts.

Hoxie - Piggott baseball

The Hoxie Mustangs defeated 3A-3 conference foe Piggot 10-6 at Piggott.

Seth Hart had two hits for Hoxie, while Hayden Defries earned the complete-game victory on the mound.
