Hoxie - Weiner baseball The Hoxie baseball team defeated Weiner 14-5 at Weiner. Hayden Defries led the Mustangs at the plate with four hits, while Jacob Defries added three hits. Trent Kirksey and Kyle Wilson each had two hits. Hayden Defries also earned the win on the mound for Hoxie.
WR - Riverside softball Walnut Ridge's Lady Bobcats fell to Riverside 14-10 at Stewart Park. Sabrina Knight led the Lady Cats with three hits, an RBI and scored two runs. Brittney Dobbs had an RBI and scored twice. Stephann Petty had a hit and drove in two runs. Hannah Massey pitched a complete game for Walnut Ridge.
WR - Marked Tree softball Marked Tree swept a softball doubleheader from Walnut Ridge at Marked Tree. The Lady Indians won the first game 15-0 in three innings and completed the sweep with an 8-1 victory in the nightcap.
The Riverside Rebels shut out Black Rock 15-0 in four innings, as Kollin Stone pitched a perfect game for the Rebels.
Hoxie - Piggott softball The Hoxie Lady Mustangs defeated Piggott 15-5 in 3A-3 softball action at Hoxie. For Hoxie, Autumn Nelson went 4-for-5 at the plate and scored three runs. Courtney Sears went 3-for-4 and two RBIs. Emma Slusser was 2-for-3 and scored three runs, and Maria Fry went 2-for-2 with two runs. Hali Pratt started in the circle and pitched the first two innings. Sears came on in relief and held the Lady Mohawks hitless in her three innings.
