Hillcrest boys record wins
Hillcrest scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to defeat Sloan-Hendrix 8-4 in high school baseball action Thursday at Imboden. Sloan-Hendrix led 4-3 at the end of six innings when Brad Nunnally led off the seventh with a single for Hillcrest. Jeremiah Turner followed with a home run to give the Screamin' Eagles the lead. Hillcrest would add three more in the frame.
Offensively Colman Evans was 3-for-4 with an RBI. Cray Howard went 2-for-3, with a double and scored two runs. Turner finished with a double and home run with two RBIs and two runs scored. Cameron Durham, Tyler Parker and Brad Nunnally each had a hit.
