Tickets for the May 11 Lauren Gray concert to benefit the Downtown Walnut Ridge organization are now available, according to Josh Dement with the Walnut Ridge Chapter of Modern Woodmen.
Modern Woodmen is sponsoring the event and will match up to $2,500 of the net proceeds raised through the event.
The tickets, which are $10, are available at Modern Woodmen, imagine, First National Bank, Regions Bank, Goin' Postal, Cavenaugh GM, Special Things and The Times Dispatch.
"My dad grew up in Walnut Ridge and graduated from there," Lauren said. "We performed at a high school reunion last year and the audience was great. We had a great time, and we are looking forward to performing in Walnut Ridge again."
Downtown Walnut Ridge and First National Bank will present Music in Beatles Park on Saturday, April 28, during which attendees will have a chance to exchange their regular admission tickets for VIP tickets.
The free event, which will feature Hairy Larry and George, will be from 3-6 p.m. Throughout the afternoon, names will be drawn for an opportunity to exchange two general admission tickets for two VIP tickets, which will include special reserved seating and backstage passes.
In order to enter the drawing, attendees are asked to bring a receipt from any business located in the Walnut Ridge city limits for at least $10, as well as their general admission Lauren Gray concert tickets.
The receipt, which can be for food, gifts, fuel or any items sold in Walnut Ridge, must be dated April 28.
Lorra Whitmire, a member of Downtown Walnut Ridge, encourages everyone to attend the event.
"Bring your receipt, your tickets and your lawn chairs and join us for an afternoon of Music in Beatle's Park," she said.
