Sloan-Hendrix sweeps WCC

The Sloan-Hendrix senior high basketball teams traveled to Judsonia on Friday and swept a pair of games from White County Central.

In senior boys action, Daniel Rowsey hit 16-of-18 free throws and finished with 38 points as Sloan-Hendrix outlasted the Bears to claim a 78-75 overtime win.

Also for Sloan-Hendrix, Chris Taylor had 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Tyler Booth contributed 14 points.

In a senior girls matchup, Shayla Dickson scored 14 points as the Lady Greyhounds routed WCC 46-19.
