Evans seeks re-election
Michelle Evans of Lynn has announced her candidacy for re-election as Lawrence County circuit clerk. Evans, who began her first term in 2007, said, "I have enjoyed my time as the circuit clerk and would like to ask for your continued support." Evans said she and her staff strive to be helpful and to offer any assistance they can, as allowed by the law. "One of the biggest challenges in the office is to stay educated on the ever-changing laws," Evans said. Evans and her staff are members of Circuit Clerks Association. She and her husband, Randy, have two children, Tamara Harris and Colman Evans, and one grandchild, Zane Evan Harris.
