WR girls beat Black Rock

Walnut Ridge defeated Black Rock 72-54 in senior girls basketball on Jan. 16 at Walnut Ridge.

Walnut Ridge led 25-16 at the end of the first quarter, 42-28 at halftime and 58-42 entering the fourth quarter.

Hannah Massey led the Lady Bobcats with 16 points. Katie Lewis finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Anna Bland and Audrey McElrath each tallied 10 points.

Ranie Robinett led Black Rock with a game-high 18 points. Sarah Penn recorded 11 points, four rebounds and five assists. Cheyenne Vance had 10 points and 15 rebounds. Christian Ervin finished with nine points, nine rebounds, two steals and three assists, and Kaylie Hammock had five points, 14 rebounds and three assists.

The Walnut Ridge junior Lady Bobcats defeated Black Rock 59-36.
