Harris to run for re-election

Stephanie Harris of Lynn has announced her candidacy for re-election as Lawrence County Tax Collector.

Harris started working in the collector's office in September of 1998 as a deputy collector and then in 2004 won the election to become collector, with her first term beginning in 2005.

"I have enjoyed working with the public during these past 13 years and hope to continue doing so," Harris said. "I could not do the job without the help of the ladies who work alongside of me, Renee Callahan and Kristi Hufstedler."

Harris is a member of the Arkansas Collector's Association. She is married to Brandon Harris, and they have two children, Tyler and Levi.
