Crafton to seek office
Marilyn Crafton of Walnut Ridge has announced her plans to run for Lawrence County treasurer. "I have worked for Lawrence County for 22 years," Crafton said. Fifteen of those years have been as deputy treasurer under current treasurer, Lyda Harris, who has announced she will not seek re-election. "I will run the office in the same efficient manner," Crafton said. She said she would also remain informed on any new laws by attending continuing education classes. "I would appreciate the support of the voters of Lawrence County," she said.
