Hillcrest teams record victories

Hillcrest used a big second half to break open a close game and roll to a 61-37 victory over Black Rock in senior girls basketball action Friday night at Lynn.
The Lady Zebras held a one-point advantage, 13-12, after one period of play, before Hillcrest rallied to move into a 28-24 lead at halftime.
The Lady Eagles then outscored Black Rock 17-8 in the third period to extend their advantage to 45-32, and closed the game with a 16-5 fourth quarter to set the final score.
Lindsey Crews led Hillcrest with 18 points, while Shea Durham and Mackenzie Nunnally each scored 10 points.
Sarah Penn had 11 points for Black Rock.
The Hillcrest junior high girls defeated Black Rock 38-27.
Senior boys
Hillcrest's Zach Doyle poured in 29 points to lead the Screamin' Eagles to a 69-29 rout of Black Rock in senior boys basketball Friday night at Lynn.
Colman Evans added 14 points for the Eagles
Sam Clem led the Zebras with eight points.
Sloan-Hendrix
The Hillcrest senior girls defeated Sloan-Hendrix 54-35 on Dec. 13 at Imboden.
Nunnally led four Lady Eagles in double figures with 18 points. Stacy Maxwell had 13 points, and Kellie Beasley and Crews chipped in 10 apiece.
Brittney Wolfe scored 11 points, and Madicyn Huddleston added 10 for Sloan-Hendrix.
