S-H boys drop game to Bears

The Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds fell to Mammoth Spring 70-32 in senior boys basketball action on Dec. 6 at Imboden.
Daniel Rowsey led the Greyhounds with 14 points.
Izard County
Izard County Consolidated defeated Sloan-Hendrix in junior high basketball action Thursday at Brockwell.
ICC led 8-6 after the first quarter, and pulled away in second period to lead 26-14 at halftime. The junior Cougars led 44-29 after three periods.
Sloan-Hendrix was led by Colby Johnson with 11 points. Kyle Murphy and Levi Yarbro added six points apiece. Nathan DeShazo and Anthony Blissenbach had three points each. Tyler Murphy and Zach Taylor each had two points, while Dylan Hughes, Dylan Wood and Payton Oliver each added a free throw.
