Anthony named interim airport manager

Mitch Whitmire resigned as manager of the Walnut Ridge Airport, effective Dec. 31, at a special meeting on Nov. 21. He had served as manager since November of 2009.

ATOD Coalition receives grant, continues programs

The Lawrence County ATOD (Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs) Coalition recently completed a grant cycle, which brought to an end several years of having paid staff members to oversee parts of the coalition's efforts.
