Elayna Jade Ann Rickey, seven weeks, is the daughter of Charles Vernon and Nicole Elizabeth Ann Brown Rickey of Siloam Springs. She has two older brothers, Noah, five, and Wyatt, two.
Grandparents are Charles and Gaye Rickey of Black Rock and Stephen and Michelle Bruce of Cherokee Village.
She is the great-granddaughter of Bill and Mary Hibbard and Zuma Rickey, all of O'Kean, Dottie Brown of Cherokee Village and Harold and Bobbie Bruce of Powhatan and the great-great-granddaughter of Anna Osterdyk of Mora, Minn.

Charles Snapp of the Lawrence County Tourism Committee is never at a loss for words. With a crowd gathered Sunday evening for the lighting of the Christmas tree in the Beatles Park and for the announcement of the $200 merchant shopping spree winner, Charles took the opportunity to speak.

He encouraged everyone to shop in our home county first, as this not only helps local merchants but also generates sales tax dollars that help our county progress.

He also gave an update on the continued fund-raising efforts to build the guitar walk and made announcements about the video Santa messages and the giveaway of a 42-inch flat-screen TV in connection with Beatles Park.

We applaud the efforts of the organizations, Downtown Walnut Ridge and the Tourism Committee, as well as others to revitalize the downtown area.
