Hillcrest records victories

The Hillcrest basketball teams enjoyed a successful week on the court last week.

Ridgefield Christian

The Hillcrest senior boys defeated Ridgefield Christian 80-57 Friday night at Lynn.

The Screamin' Eagles led 12-7 at the end of the first quarter, 38-26 at halftime and 61-40 after three periods.

Zach Doyle led Hillcrest with 21 points, and Hunter Nunnally added 19. Tyler Parker finished with 15 points, and Colman Evans added 12.

Hillcrest won a junior boys game 37-9.


The Hillcrest boys picked up a road win earlier in the week, defeating Tuckerman 61-43.

The Eagles led 35-28 at halftime and 46-30 after three quarters.

Evans scored 21 points, while Doyle added 20.

In senior girls' action, Hillcrest's Lady Screaming Eagles defeated the Lady Bulldogs 56-32.

McKenzie Nunnally led Hillcrest with 14 points, and Lindsey Crews scored 10 points.

The Hillcrest junior high girls defeated Tuckerman 43-24.
