Fall is season of fun, service

Fall is not only a favorite season of many, but it is also one of the busiest. Several stories in this week's TD relate to the Iron Mountain Festival planned for Saturday, Oct. 29, in downtown Walnut Ridge. The Black Rock Foothills Celebration is set for the weekend of Nov. 4-5 and involves many activities, such as the ever-popular Black Rock Lions Club Pancake Breakfast.

This is National Business and Professional Women's Week, and the Walnut Ridge chapter's annual coffee is this Thursday. The local club is also honoring member Kari Shanks, their much-deserving "Woman of the Year." continued...
